What we keep, and for how long.

mxops Ingress is run by mxops, Dallas, Texas. It holds files for the businesses that use it, and only for as long as they choose.

What we store
  • Files you send or upload, encrypted with a separate key per file. File names and comments are encrypted too.
  • Email addresses of senders, recipients and the people asked to upload, so we can email links and one-time codes.
  • One-time codes, stored only as a keyed hash and expiring within minutes.
  • An audit log of sign-ins, uploads, downloads and changes, with time, IP address and browser, so the business that sent you a link can see who opened it.
How long

Each business sets how long files are kept. Links expire on their own, and expired files are destroyed automatically. A business can delete files, or its whole workspace, at any time; deleting a workspace destroys its encryption key, so its files can't be read again, backups included.

Who can see it

Only the business that sent or requested the files, and the people they sent links to. We don't sell data, show ads, or use analytics or tracking. The only cookies keep you signed in and remember menu settings.

Services we rely on: DigitalOcean (hosting), Cloudflare (network and TLS), Microsoft 365 (sending email). They never receive your files unencrypted.

Your choices

To have your details or files removed, contact the business that sent you the link, or write to [email protected] and we'll pass it on. Security issues: [email protected].
